Dance Instructor

A little bit about me: When I was a teenager, I was heavily involved in music. I went on to receive my Bachelors in Music so that I could go teach. However in college, I took my first ballet class and fell in love with dance. After I graduated, I decided to go back to school and work towards another bachelor towards a different outlet: musical theatre. It was through this education, that I really concentrated on making myself a better performing. I got introduced to ballroom at a dance call audition. And from there, I have developed a deep enjoyment and respect for ballroom dancing. I am a lover of all the performing arts!

What I Love most about teaching? Dancing with my students. Of course I enjoy watching them progress and having them realize that they indeed can dance. But the best times that I have on the dance floor are when I can dance with my students and perform with them.

What dances I enjoy the most? I go through favorite dances as much as the seasons change. I am never happy with just one.

One thing most people do not know about me is …: I love to sing in my car and I like to dance around my bedroom by myself when there is music playing.
